Youth Action Committee!

The Austin Youth Action Committee provides the youth of Austin a place to come together to address climate issues and support them in taking climate friendly action in their schools and communities. Us youth are the generations who will feel the effects of the climate crisis our entire lives, so join us as we stand up to fight for our future.

One of the main roles of the Austin Youth Action Committee will be transitioning schools and school districts across Austin to 100% clean, renewable energy. Click here to learn more about how the transitioning process looks like. Currently, we are focusing on Leander ISD.
